Highs and Lows of point whoring

I just finished the GSL on x360a.org and went through a very low point in scoring. I was excited for it to start. I had 17 games lined up to playthrough and thought I could easily put up 30000 points. The realisation set in a few weeks into it, how much harder that is to do. I thought it would be a breeze since I love gaining gamerscore, but the glitches I hit in many of the games due to them being cheaply made really drained the fun out of them. At a lot of stages I couldn't even bring myself to keep playing anything. I kept trying, but the enjoyment was not there.

I have gone back to some bigger budget games now and am having a much better time. The tag line on easy scoring games should be "Fun in small doses".

New CoD is out next week and I really can't wait for it. The new online modes look really interesting. Will be nice to wager my cash for my skill. I generally do well online with it, so will be interesting to see how it goes when I have something on the line.
